The Rainbow

Genesis 9:13-15

13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

I noticed that all over social media is rainbows. Many are claiming it is a sign of pride. They claim that it represents acceptance of a group that looks like they got their name from looking in vegetable soup. Let me educate you. The rainbow that they claim is a sign of love that was given as a promise that God would not flood the earth again. He gave us this promise because he had just flooded the earth for the sin of man. It is not a sign of acceptance. It is a promise from God. Now, when you take something of God and mock it and try to change it to fit your sinful lifestyle, you are going to stand before God one day, and I don’t think he is going to care that you did it for love. Godnis love, and he destroyed the world over corruption. The Bible tells me that you are not going to like what happens to you for using God’s promise for something so vile he destroyed two cities for.
